In his last three starts, Eric Lauer has gone 6 IP, given up one HR in each start, and gave up 3 ER in each start. That's pretty consistent. But he doesn't miss many bats and sooner or later that has to catch up to him. Nola, well he's just bad. The Dodgers line up should have no issues putting up some crooked numbers against him. And while the Dodgers pen is pretty good, Phillys is not. Perfect weather for a ball game.
Pittsburgh Pirates +154
Max Fried hasn't pitched since May 13th, and starters rarely come back from ling IR stints, and have much success. Especially with the way the Pirates are swinging the bat as of late. Fried may not get much run support either, from an offense that is really missing its boppers. I'd happily taken Pitt @ even money, but this number seems like a gift.
Boston Red Sox -118
I liked yesterdays number better, but still feel the same. Especially with a win earlier today to stretch the streak. I'll ride them until they burn me.
Miami Marlins -102
They have to win eventually, and it may as well be with their ace on the hill. Alcantara has been good, and this offense is bound to break out sooner or later. They really need to stop the bleeding and not get swept for the third straight series.
