Lost my last one thanks again to a bunch runners being stranded on base which led to no run support for Verlander. Seems to be the story of my life. Well, actually just my last bet but who cares anyway? It's a new day and I'm in love with a Saturday night game.
Mr. Kyle Kendrick against Mr. Jaime Garcia. Which of these guys' personalies will show up?
Kyle Kendrick has a nice lifetime ERA of 3.34 against the Cards but he has been quite shaky as of late. He hasn't exactly been the best in Busch either. I'm going to trust in him to serve some seed.
Jaime Garcia has had a couple rough outings as well but his last one was damn good. The question is will he be able pound out another stellar showing against a fairly warm (border-line hot) Philadelphia offense? I'm going to bet against consistency.
I don't think a 10-9 is going to happen like it did a couple days ago but I do think 9 runs is going to happen given the way both teams have been touching the plate.
My money sides with the over here. (I would really pound the first half if my book allowed me to play them.)
