Cam Schlittler's road ERA in the 1st 5 innings this season is 1.20. That is, like, low. He's started nine times on the road, and of course he never got knocked out early. Check out the scores of these games at the end of 5 innings.
March 27th at San Francisco - tied 0-0
April 1st at Seattle - Yanks up 1-0
April 12th at Tampa Bay - Yanks down 3-0
April 23rd at Boston - Yanks down 2-1
April 28th at Texas - Yanks up 1-0
May 9th at Milwaukee - Yanks up 2-0
May 15th at NY Mets - Yanks up 4-0
May 26th at Kansas City - Yanks up 10-1

In that April 23rd game at Fenway Park, Schlittler was victimized by an error that led to an unearned run that gave the Red Sox a 1-0 lead. Schlittler lost the 1st 5 innings with two outs in the bottom of the 5th when Carlos Narvaez took him deep to break the 1-1 tie. So the Yankees' only decisive loss this season in this situation behind Schlittler was the April 12th game in Tampa when the Yankees were in the throes of a season-long 5 game losing streak where they couldn't catch a break. They lost those 5 games by a total of 6 runs.
Yankees -145 in the 1st 5 looks good to me.

Wow. Two months later, it happened to Cam Schlittler again. Again he lost the 1st 5 innings to the Red Sox at Fenway Park with two outs in the bottom of the 5th! A 2-0 lead disastrously devolved into a 4-2 lead for the Red Sox! This time it was Caleb Durbin taking him deep to break the 2-2 tie.
