That's game 2 for those who don't care who is pitching. 

I don't know what happens in game 1, and don't necessarily care.

Imanaga had a great year last year, although there was a difference of 3.73 era vs 4.86 fip. The nerds know there was some luck involved, especially with a fly ball pitcher. 

I watched him all spring and something was off. Giving up the long ball 5 times with 20 hits over 18 innings. 

The Guardians haven't faced a left handed starter yet believe it or not. But have established a respectable slash line .289/.719 vs left handed bullpen pitching. And a very good bunch from Seattle and LAD.

The Cubs have hit lefty starters at .231/.609 so far, and Messick here is a good one imo. A true ground baller who's change up to right handed batters has been deadly. He throws a good 4 pitch combo of 4 seam fastball, change, slider and sinker.

Just my take. Now that I've written too much, the Cubs smash the Guardians no problem. Cause that's baseball. 

It's hard for regular folks to understand this. Especially when HFA is very important in many other sports.

I won't completely disqualify HFA in baseball, but you are correct, not 20 to 40 cents no way.
