Detroit - 155 against the lowly A's
Give me Melton any day with an EEA of around 2.00. Looks like a winner to me. This game just jumped out at me. I will have to look at the other teams later when I have more time.

I will also go with Boston -104
Bennett has an ERA of 1.78 through his last 4 games. Boston has won 8 out of their last 10 games and I think they will do it again tonight.
Better pitcher and better hitting is a good winng combination. We just need Lady Luck to be on our side.
As always, best of luck to all.![]()

@magiccarpetride
Way to go magic! You’re hot!
I was going to say era is the worst indicator to use to evaluate pitching quality, but you keep doing you!

Thank you for your point of view. I do feel you are right but I'm looking at so many stats, that I just grabbed a number that looked to me. (out of many others) .
Bottom line, Lady Luck smiled at me today. May Lady Luck smile at you too with whatever stats you use. Because of what you pointed out, I will be looking at ERA numbers a little closer. Thank you for sharing.

Two easy winners, well done. How many in a row is that?
The Red Sox are legitimately rolling with a 10-2 record since June 25th. They have averaged exactly 6 runs in those ten wins. They are clearly taking this road trip seriously after their previous road trip concluded with an ugly series loss in Denver vs. the lowly Rockies. Later today in the series finale the Red Sox are probably gonna need to put up at least 6 runs because they're throwing new acquisition (and Angels reject) Patrick Sandoval out there.
