These are the two hottest teams in baseball but SD is on an even bigger roll than Milwaukee. San Diego is on a 20-5 run including its total domination of the Cubs. Milwaukee has only two quality starters right now in Misiorowski and Henderson but both have already thrown more innings than in any year in their professional careers. Both were handled with kid gloves pitching limited innings down the stretch by Brewers manager Murphy (he deserves to win manager of year for third year in a row). If SD can win one of two in Milwaukee they're very likely to win this series. Padres only had to use two starters against the woeful Cubs and the Cubs series Game 1 starter is available for Game 2 in this series. Both teams have great bullpens and both are efficient in run production. At best this is a tossup series but if there is any golden rule in the post season it is: PLAY THE HOT TEAM. Nobody is hotter than the Padres
Opinion only: Game 1 10/3 White Sox +135
