MLB MONDAY (YTD: 3-1)

Good day yesterday. Very close to sweeping. Just need a lot more data points to make sure my model is profitable. Again, the goal is hit over 57% and maintain a profit. I’ll be taking games every day morning and none of the games I take will be -200 or worse. I will not be keeping track of units, only wins and losses. 

im waiting for confirmation on starting pitchers and will be posting later this afternoon. 

     would be nice if you kept track of the important part...UNITS...although i understand the people will bitch and moan about how they got different lines...THATS TOO BAD....but best of luck hope it works for ya...thanks for posting....

I’ll try to put in units and track them. Someone check my math for yesterday’s picks. To make it easy, I’m just using one unit per bet and all odds are based on FanDuel at the time I placed the bet:

Is that right? Again, someone check my math and if there’s something I’m missing, let me know. I’m a lawyer, not a math guy so lmk how people keep track of it and I’ll try to keep it going

Well... (40-100+110+98)/100 = 1.48. But you wouldn't have won 40 on a -160 bet unless you were risking only 64. Assuming you risk 100, you'd have won 62.50. 

Vegas_local +2.1 units is right if you are playing to win 100, i.e., risk 160 to win 100. So either 2.1 units if you're playing to win 100, or +1.705 units if you are risking 100 (62.50-100+110+98).

At any rate, congrats on your yesterday's 3-1  and BOL today and into the future! 

thanks - I’ll try to figure out the math so I get the units right. I typically parlay a lot of bets together but I want to be accurate with the units because the odds are all over the place with baseball. Going 3-1 doesn’t really mean much if you’re taking +1.5 on every game

That’s a sweeeeeeep. 7-1 over 2 days. I have to figure out this units thing, but so far, so good. I put the odds down for both days and assuming 1 unit for all 8 games, I’ll try to figure out the units and update this later I guess.
