Question

This is my first year following baseball, have been watching closely and I see value in the Philadelphia Phillies at 4.8/1 to win it all. Obviously the Dodgers are a real threat and lead the betting odds at 3/1, but Philly has been playing well as of late, has the pitching to pull it off this year. They have made it to the NL Championship series and the World Series the last two years, I think this is their year to finally pull it off.

Thoughts? Anybody like any other teams in particular. I am done with the Orioles and don't see the Yankees doing anything in the post-season either.

3/5 of Dodgers rotation is young guys who have already been rattled in meaningless regular season games and won't show up when it matters. They spent wild on offense and nothing on pitching aside from Paxton/Glasnow. There are no bullpen pieces for them to get over the hump and have relied on reclamation projects the past few years since Jansen left.

For value Astros are always a good bet.
