MLB All Stars (2026)

The derby was entertaining, I still miss the Sosa, McQuire, Bonds HR leader race(they were all going for 70 HRs)(PEDs were suspected). 

Fast forward to present numbers……

starting pitchers ……

American: 6w, 2.5 era, 148 ks.      
National: 11w, 2.6 era, 144 ks 

total HR & RBIs.

American 172 HR & 449 RBIs.   
National 166 HR & 475 RBIs.

tight numbers for the thousands at bats but slight edge for National RBIs (26).

3 all star results :

2025 American won 7-6.      
2024 National won 5-3.      
2023 American won 3-2 

Be careful if you go large, I’m being conservative with a “entertainment value” for National ML.

By the way : some big names (Mayweather owes the IRS 7 million) and bounced big checks for high end watches.  Drake lost 1 million on the McGregor fight .   Even though these guys are multimillionaires (it blows my mind) but it’s relative to your budget.  I’m happy to cash anything larger than 500 !!!!!!!

 never understood how someone like mayweather owes 7 million, i mean i see how he could with management issues or promoters  but why not just pay it and be over it  i would

Most of these guys go from rags to riches. They have a god given talent in one sport or two and are able to make millions. If the athlete surrounds himself with HONEST people who truly care for their interest. They have a chance to have generational wealth for their grandchildren.   

Unfortunately , there are slimy, dishonest people who are professional in their sales pitch to make 5 or 10 fold their investment. I’m far from telling people how to spend their money but SOMEBODY needs to sit with  them and explain basic taxes…… for every million you make , UNCLE SAM will need about 28% , that’s $280k. Every 10 million, uncle wants $2.8 mil.  They need professional “honest” lawyers to explain, why don’t you donate 2 million to your hometown programs or children’s hospitals, after the dust settles , they will have 8 million in their offshore accounts or World banks. I’m going too long with this but Wesley Snipes did 3 years for tax evasion.

They were all juiced up.

Entertaining for sure, but wrong.
