The St. Louis Cardinals are 1-5 in their last 6 games. The Cards are 1-7 in Liberatore's last 7 starts. This isn't a stat I put much weight into, but hey, it's kinda weird! The Cards have five regulars hitting .111 or less over their past four games. Conversely, seven regulars for the Pirates are hitting .263 or better as of late. The Pirates are on a 5-game winning streak. Both teams have been eliminated from playoff contention, but the Pirates appear to give a damn, while the Cardinals don't.
