I would say beware of baseball teams that struggle to win two games in a row, something these Red Sox have accomplished just twice this month. Just two days ago they tried to defeat the Rockies two days in a row, and they could hardly have effed that game up any harder.

Ben Rice won't be in the lineup tonight for the Yankees. Paul Goldschmidt will instead play 1st base, and Amed Rosario will be the DH instead of Goldschmidt. And that means Jose Caballero will play 3rd base instead of Rosario, which means Cody Bellinger will start in left field instead of Caballero. And that means Spencer Jones will get the start in center field. Oh, and catcher Austin Wells and his stout .183 batting average will get the night off in favor of Ali Sanchez, who will appear tonight in his 11th game for the Yankees. Sanchez appeared in 4 games last season fo the Red Sox and in 8 for the Blue Jays.
