Have not done well as of late
Tonight's Mets starter Kodai Senga has started 15 games at Citi Field in his brief MLB career and completed 6 innings once. This season he has started two games at home and got himself knocked out in the 3rd inning both times.
Anyone who watched these losers get destroyed in Philladelphia the last two nights knows that too many players on this team don't seem to care.

Wind blowing out at 13 to 14 mph to left center, with 90% humidity.
Looks like a strong chance of rain, a delay possible, maybe a postponement?
Senga is a true fly ball pitcher.
Imanaga is traditionally a fly ball guy, but producing more grounders this year.

The Mets played yesterday at 7:20pm eastern in Philly, ending their short 6 game road trip.
The Cubs had yesterday off due to a postponed game at home vs the Jays.
The rain has seemed to follow the Cubs.
On April 17,18,19, the Cubs swept the Mets at Wrigley. Imanaga did not face them.
Senga did, lasting only 3.1 innings, 6 earned on 6 hits(2 hr's), 3 walks and 3 k's.
In his next start he only last 2.2 innings and they put him on the shelf. Senga experienced persistent back discomfort that affected his pitching, making it difficult for him to stand on one leg. He landed on the IL in late April and received a [cortisol injection/epidural] to calm the inflammation.
During his minor league rehab assignment in June, Senga was briefly scratched from a start at Double-A Binghamton due to minor ulnar nerve irritation in his right arm, though he quickly resumed playing catch.
His first start back at the MLB level was his last outing, lasting 4 innings. Giving up 2 hits(both hr's), 4 earned, 4 walks and 5 k's.

Imanaga has looked great in his last 2 starts, giving up only 1 earned run in 10.2 innings. But, that was vs Colorado both times. Has he figured out his woes before that, or was it just that the Rockies suck so bad?
In his prior 4 games before facing Colorado, his era was 10.80 with a FIP of 10.17. He gave up 12 homeruns in this 4 game span.
I have been really busy, I have missed Imanaga's last 2 starts. So I can't tell you what I didn't see.

Listen, this Royals lineup looks pretty thin today.
I know Kansas City has shown some recent offensive life, and I know Tampa Bay isn’t quite the same version we saw a month ago but with Rasmussen on the mound at home, you would think the Rays should be able to control this thing early.
First five is definitely on the radar

I like the Rays pick LV! I was looking at the Mets/Cubs game too but its been raining here pretty bad so it might get cancelled. Good luck on your plays!

The Royals are missing their biggest bat, the lineup is thin, and Rasmussen has been lights out. If he gives us five clean or near-clean innings, Tampa just needs one early push against Wacha

Still looking at this one?
Supposedly Cole is pissed that he got scratched last game, messed up his routine.
