Mets will be much better without Mendoza.  Just kidding they will still suck with a very high payroll.  They should get a bump with a new manager but it won&#x27;t be enough in this game.

There is at least one team every year, usually more, that can&#x27;t hit when they pitch, and can&#x27;t pitch when they hit. Such teams become losers whether the score is 1-0 or 10-9, they just always manage (find a way) to lose. It becomes endemic. Scratch them, they are not going to significantly change, new manager or not. At this point good players are looking for a way out, not rejuvenation under any circumstances.
