The Tigers are scheduled to start right-hander Reese Olson (4-3, 3.38 ERA) on Saturday. Olson is 1-0 with an 0.87 ERA in three career games (two starts) against the Blue Jays.

Toronto had not announced a starter or an opener as of late Friday night. Left-hander Eric Lauer (1-0, 2.00 ERA) could be used as the opener or the bulk reliever. He is 0-2 with a 19.80 ERA in two career games, both starts, against the Tigers.

The Blue Jays are trying to avoid losing two consecutive home series as they continue a nine-game home stand. They dropped two of three to the Tampa Bay Rays earlier this week.
