There is much to like about Webb, and at some point I will probably play him, but this one is highly risky. Webbs stats are ok, even impressive, but some of that is because he is a short-start pitcher, less than 4 innings is not uncommon. His other problem is that this park has a distinct lefty bias. There is a heavy advantage to the park for the lefties at San Francisco. Lefty pitchers and hitters alike are what this park is built for, with consistent evening breezes from the southwest, out to McCovey Cove (Just ask Barry Bonds). The lefty Fried and the Yankees left handed hitters should love this park. I computed a line of -146 on the Yankees with Fried versus Webb, so the juice looks downright cheap.
