Teng is OK, but Valdez has really gotten his act in order lately. For comparison look at it this way. Teng 2-5 for quality performances lately, Valdez 5-2, the exact opposite.
F5 – Royals +115 Wacha/Martin
Of course bettors overreact to a drubbing like yesterdays, as though that should and will be a consistent thing. Reality says Wacha is the lead singer in the Royals band lately, consistent and reliable with good results. For all the love Davis Martin has received (well deserved) he has been up-down-up-down-up-down, alternately for his last six starts, and could/should be in the down cycle today. Good kid, but slipping, back the old pro.
