The fact they are favored is absurd
Sports books must know Phillies are winning today ....
Tough loss for Atlanta which is why I am staying away but Home teams who win game 1 are 7-0 in the series. Nothing lasts forever but thats the history

You should just stop betting right now if this is how you make picks. They're barely favored. It's basically a coin flip.
Look at the first 2 games. They were basically coin flips too, close games where the winner snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

Let's see if the sports book tipped the winner here
I'm willing to bet they did if I'm wrong oh well
I will follow the sports books who favored a road team 6 seed to win game 3 on Atlanta home field and home crowd
I was born at night but not last night
Again if I'm wrong oh well it's sports betting every angle you use can be viewed as a bad angle I will follow this one right off the cliff

I dont think youre that far off Gav. Atl should be slightly favorites. They could easily have made Atl -115 instead and no one would blink an eye. How ever you take it a bit too far when saying books know the outcome. Lol they dont. What they do have is all the information and advanced algorithms in the world that give them a much higher chance at an educated guess then we would ever have and again just like game 2 they are comfortable with offering Atl in a favorable spot at home in a winner to take all to bettors at a reduced price. That is a bit of a red flag to me if I was an atl backer. Again it doesn't mean they know and it doesn't mean Philly will advance
Look so Atl was -195 at home game 1 with sale. They go from -195 at home to +100 at home to now -105 at home. Thats huge price differences from game 1 to the next two games. I personally think that they adjusted seeing Philly has a better chance to advance then what they originally perceived in game 1 which they could have easily won. So imho I think books yes are giving a slight slight edge to Philly to advance. Id be on Philly small just for action but this is a stay away game where anything can happen

Phillies own the Braves. All the pressure is on the Braves and you can see it in their cold bats. Acuna 0-6 Olson 1-8 Harris killed them hitting into DPs in Game 2. If anyone tells me they are starting Kim for his “defense” I will laugh in their face. Starting him gives Atlanta, who is already cold offensively, 8 batters. Kim can’t even bunt.
I’m on the Phillies. This series should already be over.
Weiss pitching Lee in b2b days was horrible and prolly cost them this series.

Phillies will miss Arraez tonight. That's a big time fact.
Here's a stat to ponder:
Braves' team OPS vs. Nola this year is .825 over 68 PAs. Phillies don't have anything near that kind of success and familiarity with the pitchers they will face tonight.
Kerr will only pitch 3 innings max. Who toes the rubber for the Braves after that is anybody's guess. Walt Weiss probably isn't even sure. That's the reason the Braves aren't favored. Uncertainty.
It's true, sometimes the books will give bettors a clue in the spot as to how they think a game will go, but this ain't one of them. Maybe the books don't have enough information to accurately handicap this one. How could they since there's so many unknowns on the Braves side?
Books make mistakes too, you know. Maybe the pick-it spot is a mistake on their part. Ever thought about that?
