Is it? Let's consider you are profitable, will the books continue to take your action? Or when you start winning will they ban you? I would like to hear from people with experience.
I think if you aim for $120k it is very doable.. Especially if you have an equal bank roll..
My pet peeve lately has been online black jack where you can win and lose a boat load in a hurry..
Now I am using Pinnacle where you can ask to make the online casino inactive..
I think using a local is much better than online. You can get caught up with live plays that can suck you in a chase until your bankroll is gone..
#1 Money management
#2 strategic betting - for example MLB I just started to love MLB.. I used to hate it bc its 190 straight days of baseball but you don't have to play everyday.. I don't like to wager on Game 1 of series as I do in Games 2 and 3..
I love Game 3's
I would bet all day on good teams to avoid the sweep and bad teams not to sweep
Orioles would be a 15% chance to sweep. 5 unit play in Tribe
Marlins would be 25% 4 units on Phillies
Rockies would be 35% 2.5 units on Dodgers
The Tigers to win 2 straight and against the hottest pitcher in Baseball is 10%.
I just feel MLB just betting from a statistical stand point can be very profitable.. You can't win every game but should win more than you lose. And I would need at least 3-4 angles on a team to bet on them..
Also if a bad team beat a good team in Game 1.. I would take a 2 step approach and play 1-2 units on Game 2 and be prepared to wager 3-4 units on Game 3 if they lose Game 2.. Yes this is kind off a chase but you are ahead not betting the Game 1 loss..
You need to be right 75% of the time just to break even and I don't see bad teams sweeping good teams that often..
