Team A wins the bet. Team A covers the -1.5 run line, meaning they win the game by 2 runs (8-6), which is more than the 1.5 runs they had to give up.Game and Bet ResultsFinal Score: Team A 8, Team B 6 (including extra innings)Run Margin: Team A won by 2 runs (\(8 - 6 = 2\))Spread Result: Since Team A's 2-run win is greater than 1.5, Team A (-1.5) covers the spread. Extra innings do not change how run lines are settled; all runs scored in extra innings count toward the final score
I am not very familiar with baseball betting rule. I had Giants -1 LIVE and my book grade that as cancel?

The final score should be 7-6 and should get adjusted. By MLB rules, even if he hits a ground rule double, the game ends the minute the first run scores and the batter will be awarded a single.

Your sportsbook graded the bet as a draw (push) because the official final score of tonight's game was actually 7-6, not 8-6.The Walk-Off Rule ConfusionWith the score tied 6-6 in the bottom of the 10th inning, Rafael Devers hit a walk-off ground-rule double with the bases loaded. In baseball, when a game ends on a walk-off hit, only the runs required to win the game are officially counted

What happen was Rafael Devers delivered a walk-off ground-rule double, but Luis Arraez never touched home plate so the Final score was changed from 8-6 to 7-6, if he would've touched home plate then it would've been 8-6, at least that's my understanding, I got screwed too from a win to a push, it sucks.

Oh shit I actually think you're right about that, cause why would the books grade it out as 8-6 only to reverse it like 30 minutes later. Definitely sucks.

I learn something new ... one should be careful taking favorite -1.5 --- If the game is tie going into the 9 inning, the dog is almost guarantee a cover.
