Rinse, repeat. I have been wrong before so there is no way I'm claiming to be some guru but I have been playing AZ all week, especially in the F5 and have had continued success. I have tried to weigh in on other threads and suggest tailing them too, but to no avail.
The reasoning is simple; teams that are in a MUST WIN playing teams that are in the bottom 5 within MLB standings in the last week of the season has been incredibly successful. The irony in all of this is that the Diamondbacks just can not win when they have pressure on them. Release the pressure, and they are a different squad.
In short, Arizona has OWNED the Rockies (who hasn't in the NL West) having only dropped a few games earlier this year at home, games that might haunt them come Sunday, or they would be like 11-4 over the last 15 played. Eduardo Rodriguez, the Diamondbacks starter today, has also gone 3-1 in his career with all of these games in Colorado. Tanner Gordon on the other hand, the Colorado starter, has over a 13 ERA in THREE career outings against AZ. Add to that Colorado is exceptionally poor against LHP, which Rodriguez is, and you have the makings of a strong play imo.
This is an early game at 3pm EST but with the Diamondbacks heading to SD tomorrow for a crucial 3 game set and the Padres being 4 ahead of them, they will be at worst trying to make that series meaningful. In fact, the irony could set in should the Padres WIN tonight and the Diamondbacks also win but one of the Cubs or Phillies lose, meaning that AZ will only be 2 back with 3 to play. And...the 3 in SD might see some bench players starting and starters rested which would be sublime to a team that just can't drop another game and have a chance.
Tread lightly but that's how I see this game going today. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...

@LAGameofInches So are you playing F5, FG, or both?
I'm personally playing both. I will play the FG at -1 though I think the Diamondbacks win by more than that given they have won over 60% of their games this year by more than 1 and Colorado have lost games by more than one run in 75% of their games!

Great spot and should Philly lose tonight the Diamondbacks will be a hammer again tomorrow regardless of what SD ends up doing. Though I fully expect the padres to lose tonights game and set up some drama for the weekend.
