2 lesser pitchers. What are you guys leaning for this? Over seems too easy too me
Joe Ross has pitched well in his two road starts this year. His numbers look bad because he got blown up at home twice. And Wesneski is a solid young pitcher. Only a few brewers faced him last year. The cubs bullpen is bad so hopefully they can get 5 innings out of him. $ is on the over. Wind blowing in.
im going under fg and possibly first 5

@Interstellar
I have it juiced at -125 to the under even though more tickets on the under. The cubs lineup also looks pretty weak in certain spots with bellinger and Suzuki still out. Taking my chances going low

Never take notice of wind blowing out or in
ive seen so many times at wrigley wind blowing a hurricane out the line moved out to 11 or 12 every one on the over
but you gotta hit the ball
it’s a bit of a myth that the score is governed by wind

@crafty_cockney
Just the difference of fly ball outs and home runs. Yes, if the pitchers are giving up hits in a row, runs will be scored, but with the wind blowing in it reduces the chances of big innings or large chunks of offense on the hr ball. When the wind is significant, it will greatly impact the score at wrigley. Doesn’t seem significant today but I think both starting pitchers will show up

The wind can SHIFT at Wrigley mid game. I tried to explain this last season to a number of people here last season with no success.
Also.....as indicated in yesterday's game....these millionaire players are deficient at playing their profession under the sun. There are far more mental and physical errors in day games IMO than night ones. And it's not just the sun. Although in 2024 these dolts act like it's kryptonite.

Whoever made this above.....
Forgot to comment on how Wrigley Field is the only dump in ALL of baseball with a fn CONCRETE WALL!
I believe it contributed to their best player being out for a while right now.
Not to mention the basket is stupid as all hell....but don''t get me started
and the "diehards" that were nowhere to be seen in the 70's actually THROW opponents hr's back onto the field. OHH, how cool is that!...don't get me started
OR
That the organization OWNS the scalping companies (mostly outside around the park) that are the second tier of the ticket market.
