It just took me FOREVER to figure out how to copy all that!
What this means:
The Reds are 16-4 in their last 20 vs. the Astros. 3 of those losses?
Against Wandy Rodriguez. Take out those games and it's 16-1. Take out
the games that Wandy Rodriguez wasn't involved in at all, and it's 13-1.
Want to throw in the other 7 games from last season? The Reds were 4-3
in those games. 2 of those losses? Against Wandy Rodriguez (Apr. 18 and
28).
In other words, when Wandy Rodriguez isn't pitching, the Reds are 17-2 in their last 19 vs. the Astros.
Now, the only bug-a-boo today would be Brett Myers (and it's a pretty
big bug-a-boo) but, at the same time, Travis Wood has done a pretty
decent job himself.
If you want to take a shot at this trend, today's your last chance
because a) you're still getting relatively good value (CIN -112 at
Pinnacle right now) and b) when the Astros visit Great American next
week, you're going to be paying big time juice and half the Reds lineup
could be sitting (depending on whether or not they've clinched).
Bottom line: when the Reds play the Astros, the smart play is the Reds.
When Wandy Rodriguez is pitching, the smart play is the Astros. That
doesn't mean it will happen or won't happen - it just means do with this
information what you will...
Good luck either way.

* That should read "Take out

This is not off to a good start...

Thanks estes. And not to worry... If anyone on this site is capable of pulling off a major turnaround in a hurry, I'm sure it's you.
Anyways, might as well post my picks in here. 2-1 Yesterday.
CINCINNATI ML -108 CINCINNATI RL +156 * See above
WASHINGTON / PHILADELPHIA OVER 9.5 +100 * The over is 11-3 in games between the two this season. Throw in Joe Blanton's O/U numbers at home (9/3) and during the day (8/3), and this one is worth a shot at + money.
TORONTO / BOSTON OVER 8 -102 * Last 2 times Jon Lester's faced the Jays, the total's hit 18 and 17. With recent matchups trending towards the over, 9 shouldn't be alot to ask.
Good luck everyone!
