After the White Sox won Game 1 by a score of 3-0, I took a look at how both teams have responded to shutouts this season. The White Sox following a shutout win went 2-7. They went 1-4 if they were playing the same team. The only win was a 9-1 win at home over the A's on the Sunday just before the All-Star break.
Cleveland went 11-5 this season after getting blanked. They went 7-3 if they were playing the same team.
Wait, the Clevelanders got shutout sixteen times? Yes, and since the All-Star break they have been shutout eleven times in just 66 games. Yikes. And following those ten shutout losses since late July, they went just 6-4, and just 4-3 if they were playing the same team. It's starting to feel like the enthusiastic White Sox will continue their October winning ways.

That can't be ignored, it's s too strong a trend. Some might argue this is the playoffs now, new season or the past doesn't matter but still a 19 in a row situation is a must play, win, lose, or draw.

So the recent/ongoing trend is 19 consecutive Overs after rest. That's definitely worth flagging in your White Sox model.
Except that streak was snapped two days ago. I wouldn't recommend relying on this trend here in the postseason because every one of those 19 overs happened in the first game of a series vs. (obviously) a different team than the one they just played.
