Braves gonna attack early Nola. Just that.
BIG BRAVES -1.5 (+155)
MrB, what’s the POD?
My goofy, longshot prayer of a parlay today is on the Braves -105 and the Fever +175, and I will be at the game to root on the visitors from Indiana from my usual perch.

I got R/L +193, third day of R/L wins, 2 with SD and a 2.5 R/L yesterday. Also NYY live after Red Sox made it 2-1 yesterday. Five in a row all good plus $, time to cash out...

Is Caitlin gonna play?
She played.......like ass. She was actually good in the 1st quarter, scoring 11 points. She didn't score another basket until late in the 3rd quarter. Her supposed MVP candidate teammate Kelsey Mitchell, meanwhile, was ass for all four quarters. She shot 7-23 and sealed the team's fate in the last two minutes of the game with bad play after bad play after bad play. I hate Kelsey Mitchell and always will.
If either one of the Fever's two big guns had played even their usual game, this third and deciding game in Las Vegas could have been won. The Fever had an 80-70 deficit down to 82-80 with under two and a half minutes left, but then choker Mitchell botched a drive to the hoop AND committed a loose ball foul while trying to go for her own rebound, and that sent the Aces to the line. The Fever got outscored 12-3 in the last 2:15.
Caitlin Clark had a tooth KNOCKED OUT with two and a half minutes left. No call. The Fever can't come out and say the refs were against them, but I can. Officiating crews in the WNBA are intimidated by the Aces, particularly by head coach Becky Hammon, who while prowling the sideline seems meaner than a hungry wildcat, and by A'ja Wilson, who positively terrifies the officials. She yells at them all game long, every night, despite benefitting from a consistently friendly whistle almost every night. Last night she shot 15 free throws.
In the both the 3rd and 4th quarter of Game 3, the first five fouls of the quarter were called on the Fever. I mean, come on. You'd think the league would be smart and help get the Indiana Clarks into the next round, but this league is far from smart.

I watched the second half passively, without much hope, because the Aces led by 6 points at halftime, and I know they do not blow halftime leads at home. Once they went up by double digits for the first time at 58-48, I knew the Fever weren't going to cover the spread either.
