By now the Dodgers know that scoring first on the Brewers isn't as helpful as you'd expect it to be. The Dodgers did that in both Games 1 and 2 and it wound up not mattering. The sizzling-hot Padres took 2-0 leads in each of the first three games vs. the Brewers and are probably still scratching their heads wondering how they won only one of those.
The ice cold Dodgers lineup needs a confidence boost, but even if they take a 1-0 or 2-0 lead in Game 3 tomorrow night, it'll feel more like the calm before the storm rather than the ship getting back on course.
The Dodgers were wildly overpriced in the first two games, and these laughable prices will continue for as long as the series continues. Betting on the Brewers in every game is the way to go. They are not a sure thing to win Game 3, but laying -175 or -180 on these Dodgers while they're in the midst of being exposed is a mistake.
Remember, the Dodgers are now 4-17 since July 31st vs. teams that made the playoffs, and now they have to go no worse than 4-1 to survive this round. Not happening. I still expect them to get swept.

Knocking out Yamamoto after 2 1/3rd innings made my day. There was a little nip in the air in Milwaukee. ![]()
No doubt Yoshi had a little whine with his sushi and kani salad. ![]()
