The most underachieving team in the past 20 years?  Seriously, what a waste of a massive payroll.  

Great on paper. That pen didn't deserve to get dressed tonight.

 what about the O?  Score in the first inning and can’t get anything the rest of the game?  Seattle Rookie pitcher debut on the mound and he throws a 2 hitter.  

Doesn’t matter what your payroll is, all these teams are bad. I hear people claiming how the Atlanta Braves are comparable to the 1927 Yankees. They’re just better than all the other Single-A teams they’re playing against. SOMEONE has to win it all….CONSIDER THE COMPETITION. It’s pathetic.

3 HUGE Auto fades that have extremely bloated payrolls - NYY, SDP, NYM (despite their win tonight) you can toss  a bunch more in the generally fade pile - STL, CLE, PIT, LAA, OAK Just SO many bad teams with dumpster tier pitching and bullpen. The game is unrecognizable to anything I've ever seen in my 35 years watching baseball

 This is nowhere near being Major League Baseball.  Can’t believe people still pay to watch this $hitshow.

Glad that Lorenzen was left to finish the no-hitter, totalling 124 pitches. The pitch count on starters totally sucks and automatically being pulled after 6 innings to be left up to pathetic relievers for the most part. Analytics has also ruined the game.

I keyed them in a few 2 team parlays.... wow they continue to trudge along...   ONE  season of salary.. can change a few generations these days.... that to me is what has changed the game the most... follow the $.... I seem to care more than they do....ha.... Padres have 3-5 young players that are making enough money to change of FEW of their families for generations..... you can’t have these guys as your leaders.... they simply can’t lead... you can’t have 3-5 leaders...it’s just a bad mix of youth and wealth etc... to get a team to jell...  pondering this while typing this has helped me to see the Padres have no chance at improving with current group.     Poor choice by me.   

machado is a cancer to any team
