Yoshinobu Yamamoto is scheduled to start tonight for the Dodgers in Anaheim. 

Five weeks ago today on July 7th I decided to bet on Yamamoto and the Dodgers as road favorites in Milwaukee. I risked a total of seven and a half units between the full game and the 1st 5 innings.  Yamamoto’s ERA in his three previous road starts had been 0.94 over 17 innings.

That night, Yamamoto couldn’t get out of the 1st inning. He gave up 4 hits and issued 2 walks in addition to getting stung by a Mookie Betts throwing error that extended the inning. Yamamoto left in disgrace after throwing just 41 pitches. The Dodgers were down 5-0 and they were done, as was l.

Yamamoto’s ERA in his three road starts since then is 0.47 over 19.2 innings.

Just saw this. No, I faded Yamamoto, but only in the 1st 5 innings with equal amounts on the Angels +160 and +.5 +110.
