The NFL, if they finish, is more legit because at least they will have played all 16 games, but the NBA bubble was a joke (with teams and players tanking so they could get the hell out) and the shortened baseball season is not a true measure of how good any of these teams really were. These players/pitchers were fresh as a daisy and baseball is all about the grind.
It’s not the same feat yes, but it’s not the same in the whole world bro. Gotta give credit where it’s due. Not like this favored Lakers or Dodgers. It was all on a equal playing field, we are in a crazy and probably the most wild year in a long long time.

Kreshaw said he had never been so fresh during a playoff run. He was a big reason they won. I doubt he would have been able to do it if the season was not shortened. He never was able to do it before, so what changed? Only a couple of teams wanted to win in the bubble in the NBA, Miami, LA (and maybe Denver). The rest played half-a s s or mailed it in. That would have never happened during an actual playoffs.
Yes, these teams deserve some credit but it’s not the same as what teams before them accomplished. No way, no how.

Really? So how far would you take it? What if the NFL said tomorrow, due to Covid we will start the playoffs next week! You might be happy that there are playoff games, you might even enjoy the games, but that ain’t no real playoff, or at least it can’t be compared to what previous teams accomplished, hence the asterisk!

All this defensiveness with zero arguments to back up why this accomplishment is equal to or the same as what we’ve seen before prove I’m right. Everyone is simply happy to have had some entertainment to escape their day to day misery (which they project onto me) but no one can make the argument that these accomplishments are in any way equal to what these athletes have to go through during a non- truncated, non-bubble season to win a championship. The risk of injury, the mental and physical fatigue, the chemistry between teammates and coaches during a long season, the trades that work out and don’t work out, and on and on...
lets put it this way. If I took an olympic marathon and turned it into a 200 yard dash, it might still be an entertaining event to watch but it’s not the same event that we have been watching for years. It’s literally a different event.

No. Just threw in the Rams because of the other LA teams that bought their titles after years of failure under normal circumstances. Lol. These teams are fraud title holders and nobody will take these championships seriously if things ever resume back to normal. The games were played to save these sports leagues and entertain the fans while they were stuck at home. I like Tampa to play the Chiefs in the SB this year.
