Two pitchers going in completely opposite directions. Sanchez has had the better overall year, but September was rough for him (5.12 ERA), and he’s struggled on the road all season compared to his numbers at home. Mahle has really found a groove since the trade to Atlanta, posting a 2.63 ERA in September.
I think the wrong team is favored here. The Phillies bullpen has been a mess, so even if Sanchez pitches well, I still think the Braves have an advantage once this gets to the bullpen.
I’m on the Braves to close it out today.

White Sox/Astros: I am going back to the White Sox here. This price is too big for the Astros who were a .500 team all year. Brown can have control issues, and that is where the Sox can make him pay.

I would think cubs don’t go down easy. One of the best offenses all year. Have to show up after getting shut out. Haven’t trusted the Cubs pitching all year and Padres bats have been hot. I’m on the over here.
