To get a turkey burger on the way to work. Well the transaction never closed. Every time i check my bank statement the 4.27 shows up to be a pending transaction. Im not being charged 4.27 every day. It is just showing up as pending and keeps carrying over to the next business day. Tommorow will be a week. Everytime ive used my debit card it has closed the very next day iv'e never had this problem. Is this an error on burger kings part or on the banks part and which would I talk to, to take care of this problem burger king or the bank?

Dude I would close your bank account before the transaction goes through and open another. I did this back in the day to a couple offshore accounts. I did some reading and learned a few things about electronic transactions and used it in my favor. I also took advantage of the legal loopholes in offshore wagering that allowed crooked books to stiff US customers if they wanted. Nothing US citizens can do to persue funds owed to them by offshore books. I also did this to 2 smaller POS poker sites I felt scammed people. Anyway this was when bank accounts were welcome to do transactions. I knew that there were low maximum deposits on new bank accounts and limits raised after completing a deposit or two. What I noticed was that I could use my bank account to deposit that night and I would receive instant credit to wager that night...BUT the money would not come out for 1-2days. So I thought why not make a deposit with bank account, bet that night, if my bet wins, get up in the morning and deposit cash so my book transaction goes through and I take winnings. If my bet loses which it did a few times, go into bank at opening and close my bank account.(FYI I always had separate accounts for wagering) Banks will close any account if its in good standing which they always did for me. Now that its officially closed a offshore book attempts to electronically collect on that closed account. The ONLY outcome was that bank rejecting the transaction because that account does not exist. Banks didn't care or follow up, they simply do not pay on closed accounts. The ONLY avenue books had to get their funds were the account info they had which of course was not valid anymore...lol
Ok well this may not be quite the same scenario but you do have a chance at a free Turkey Burger if you felt like stickin it to da man! Choice is yours....ha ha

Same thing will happen when people get double paid by accident. They will figure it out.
But if you can't stand it, I'd start with the bank....obviously, the transaction has been "entered" and is in process if it's pending. It's pretty much out of BK's hands.

Goose, I got a couple nasty emails but they stopped after I responded by holding my ground they were out fairy tale credits and I received no goods and I copy and pasted US Attorney Generals offices number and told the offshore if they could get that office to put in writing I legally owed money for a computer screen wagering balance. If not they could quit wasting time typing me emails of threating my credit, etc. That was about 11-12 years ago and it originally bothered me that I was getting jacked around on payments after winning. So I did some thinking and waited till I eventually got part of my money due to me losing most of it as my withdrawal was "processed" for weeks. Once my balance was zero I tried the theory. Won the first 3 and lost the 4th over a stretch of a couple months. That went away and I did it again somewhere else. Then the scare was when I went $1400 deep on Paradise poker. I was lazy and didn't get to bank in time because I made sure to not have overdrafts on that account and I was confident because US bank told me to be covered on overdrafts I must fill out a credit application type form. I go in that next day and guess what? It got real quick when the bank said my account I can't remember why into negative and I argued but they had my account about $1200 in the negative. Plus the addition of other deposits that night after being drunk and rivered, rivered over and over. I didn't even plan on a crazy binge or pulling it off on poker but it started by putting in 500 and getting ripped. Then it was fk it mode! I started depositing with full intention to close account if I lost. But they would not close my account unless I paid hundreds to get it back to even. I walked out honestly a little worried but I knew I wouldn't go to jail so I just had a couple back and forth emails that were brief and over. Site wanted the money, I used paypal that night because of my higher limits, paypal wanted the money where I was to the point with them saying all that actually is Freud here is a fictional poker gambling balance. Then it was amazing...I never went back to US bank while I was letting time go by. US Bank was crooked by running my account to -$2800 and it stopped there. A little under a year and I hit the local for a fat lick. I blow gambling winnings and had a lot in my pocket and still in the back of my my mind I was wondering when that would surface. I pulled up walked in prepared to settle for $1000 if they were willing to take that or nothing. I see one of the suits in the office and only said that I may have a delinquent account and here to discuss if they were open. He can't find my name in the computer at all:) I asked, no account or anything in my name huh????? I stood up, shook the guys hand and walked out like Rocky on the steps raising my hands in joy. My only guess was the bank sold my debt to a collection agency. That was a bad buy....lol That was the end of it and me trying that sht! Lol I dodged one there and never heard or have seen since.
Before anyone goes into I'm a crook. I was called that by the offshores along with a bunch of criminal terms to scare me like I was about to get arrested damn near...lol Anyway I in real life am a good dude and go out of my way to respect others and be nice. I'm not a thief but when it comes to the man, I as you have read don't give a fukk about bad people or big companies who screw people on the reg. So I in my own mind have no conscience for bad people and crook companies. Off the subject but I am waiting on an estate to close in probate court. It was discovered there were hidden debts unknown to my half sisters other family. The big one was a man who I am guessing is a local. Somehow tricked a lady almost 80yrs old out of two loans of over 60k and she never got a dime. So she was supposed to be in great shape moneywise but now surprise debts locked everything up. I mean who robs old ladies? The family wont give me the name and I've tried and tried. But they think I would just do something stupid to get locked up. I am not happy how its being handled by just signing over house to pay the debts and say or do nothing as there is some loser that took my step grandma for 60k+ I would like to take a few things from him and maybe change his mind on continuing on picking on old ladies.

Pay cash and you won't have that problem. You're one of those phucks that hold the line up. Take out a five dollar bill to pay for your garbage and get the phuck out of the way.

Exactly right. If you don't have $4 cash in your pocket-stop at a cash machine & get real cash & stop using plastic to buy a hamburger.
