Have you ever heard of the "Chupacabra"?

After training dogs this morning, I saw this animal on the side of the road. There have been stories about the "Chupacabra" being seen in my area, and I believe that this is actually one of them. The video is quite repulsive and disgusting-but what is this thing! A short tail similar to a pig. Long claws on the front feet more than an inch long and the tooth that is showing is not a typical canine or coyote type.

Watch if you can stomach it!

This thing isn't from outer space- I took these pictures and video this morning! Wierdest looking thing that I have ever seen. I started noticing these big holes that were being dug up a couple of months ago at my training lease. I thought that they from skunks, but now I think these coyote like animals are doing the digging instead. It was almost 3 feet long and I have no doubt that it could bring down a small calf, and I dread the thought of one of my bird dogs coming across one of these in the field!

When I looked at this video again I will say it looks like a coyote with mange.

There are a lot of coyotes here in Texas and I would like to think that this is one, but I honestly believe that it is something different. Coyotes don't have short curly tails like a wild pig, they have feet similar to a dog-not claws that are over an inch long, and if you saw that tooth close up, you can tell that it is not a typical canine tooth like a dog or coyote has. I'll check out the link that you provided and possibly do a follow up with them.

There was a 1 hour show on this recently on Nat Geo.

Many myths about this creature but it looks like this cross animal exists.

Google it and see if you can find that show. Scientists have a few of the dead animals but none living. At least when that show was made.

never heard of it until about 3 years ago. This lady I worked with said she called her daughter chupacabra and I was like wtf is that. She showed me and I was like why would you call your daughter that? She was pretty hot.

I sent 3 of the photos in to the local news station on Friday around 5:00pm- they showed them on the 10:00 news. Pretty nasty pictures, but sure makes me wonder wtf it really is. I should have gotten more closeup pictures of the teeth and the claws on it-absolutely unreal.
