Something to think about... Ark has new coordinators on both sides of the ball. Not sure if the special teams coach will be coaching at the game or busy recruiting for his new gig at Weber St. So that might make it 3 new coaches for all 3 phases of the game for Arky. Petrino's brother will be taking over the offensive duites and a new guy from Ohio St will be using the defensive schemes that were already in place. I wonder how that's gonna work.

This is not gonna be close in terms of Ark vs. Kansas St. I expect Klein to throw the ball a couple of times and give ARK the ball back by INT. Razorbacks are ranked 24th in FBS in pass defense. Rush defense, they're ranked 76th. But this statistic/ranking is deceiving. Playing LSU and Bama is definitely tough in terms of rushing, but they also gave tier 2 schools (like troy) many points.
KSU's rush ranking is 24th. I feel like this is skewed because they played bad run defensive teams. What stands out to me is when they played Texas, they held them running and scoring only to 17 pts. Texas was ranked 7th in rush defense.
Which way would you go? Big12 is now 6-1 in bowl games, SEC is 4-2. I feel like ARK is going to take this but are they going to cover the spread?

Ark's rushing defense is as bad as advertised. Besides the 197 to Ala and 286 to LSU, they also gave up 381 to TxAM and 222 to Vandy. Ole Miss ran up and down the field in the 1st half before their ineptitude kicked in and Ark took over. Also Lattimore was out in their matchup with SoCar... so IMO the stats are a bit skewed in favor of Ark.
As for KanSt beating TX... TX was in the midst of QB woes and being +2 in takeaways usually helps.
That being said.. I still like Ark

Glad we're on the same page Dr.,and yes teduhl I was on Clemson--that crazy takeaway and touchdown by W.virginia really knocked the spirit outta the Clemson players. My bad for not forseeing all those freshmen on Clemson---apparently they became dispirited and the hokies took full advantage----GOT THE OVER RIGHT THO... Any freak ref calls in this game won't upset those arky boys,they've been there done that---still lovin' arkansas tonite....good luck

Initially, I liked ARK because of strong pass offense and good defense. After more research, I decided to go with Kansas State. ARK don't play too well when they are traveling and haven't covered any ATS on road. KS was the opposite. When they are on road, they covered all ATS and seems to play better. Since the game in TX, I'll take KS +9
