Losing Keenum for the season is a big loss for the Cougars. Not only does UCF have a top 10 defense their defense posses a lot of speed. UCF has been nice to me this season...I went against them once this season when I took Kansas St but never again.
My gut tells me to take Houston but if i'm not going to play on UCF I'm not touching this one at all.

I know...I have a feeling that Houston's backup qb will get it going at home in this one....I'm stuck on this one but like I stated if I'm not taking UCF then it's a no play for me.

Houston has won two straight to keep themselves in the CUSA race following a 56-17 victory over a struggling Memphis squad. Despite the loss of Case Keenum, the Cougars are still putting the ball in the end zone with third string quarterback David Piland. He had the best day of his career thus far against Memphis going 20 of 23 for 292 yards and five touchdowns. His passing alone would have been enough to carry the team, but the Cougars were productive on the ground as well, with Michael Hayes and Chris Wilson combining for 218 of their 248 yards. By the third quarter, UH had built a 49-3 lead and it was bench clearing time.
Houston is normally a step behind their offense when it comes to keeping opponents off the scoreboard. They succeeded in doing just that against the Tigers, holding them to 321 yards even though Memphis is not a potent offense. They ran for 229 yards on 42 carries but didn’t break anything long. The special teams had their hand in the scoring as well with a 74 yard punt return. The defense has now allowed 37 points in two games which is an unbeatable combination with an offense that can light up the scoreboard.
Central Florida has won four consecutive games behind a bruising ground game and smothering defense which was put to the test in their 49-35 victory over East Carolina. They needed some strong offense in this one and their ground game led the way once again with Ronnie Weaver powering his way to 180 yards and two scores to lead the backfield to 265 yards. Jeff Godfrey completed 8 of 12 for 159 yards and two touchdowns, but his job is to manage the offense and give opponents something to think about through the air. Once they got a lead on the Pirates, this unit matched them score for score and kept mistakes to a minimum.
UCF did not stop the East Carolina O, as they gave up 421 yards which seems like a lot, but they made enough stops to keep them from exploding which they are capable of. The big worry was keeping Dominique Davis from dominating the ball and even though he threw for 310 yards, the Knights secondary made them drive the field as opposed to scoring in two or three plays.
For the second consecutive week, Central Florida needs to step up their defense against another offense that can put up crooked numbers, which also means they might need some points as well. Houston is not as potent as the ECU offense but is better on D. The bottom line is UCF has to have this with USM on deck which could go a long way to deciding the CUSA…

I love UH here. UH alum, but only bet on them in good spots and this is one of them. UH had major injuries in the beginning of the season and could have packed it in, but have played solid football since. Robertson stadium will be packed and crazy for 1 of our few nationally televised games. The action should and is clearly on UCF, like stated previously they are 7-1 ATS, but the line is moving down. Sharp action is on UH here, any jackass off the street can turn in UCF.....vegas gonna make a killing tonight, and I'm with them. All you're gonna here all night from the crowd is....Who's house????? COOGS HOUSE!!!! UH +2 GL

Simple, Houston needs to win one more game to get bowl eligible and this may be there best chance. I am going with Houston to recognize the situation and get it done

Before I got too busy with work I tried to take a look at this a little more. Basically came out with the same result =
Decided that UCF seems like a stronger 1st half team than Houston is this season. I'm just hoping the UCF's defense puts pressure on the young qb early or at least before he gets a rythm going.

Im rolling with you big d. UCF got the d and the interior linemen to make hou qb say owwwwwwwwwww brudahhh. UCF are 9th in def and have 19 sacks and ranked 16th against the pass. If anything the under could come into play but i see it difficult to shut down either one of these offenses but then again we saw vtech get their 40pt a game streak snapped last nite so hmmm

tough game to call...should be a ton of points....small on over!!!!
Much better plays tomorrow...good luck all!!!!!
but you can't win or watch games tomorrrow tonight? Come on you mean you aren't a degenerate like the rest of us and bet on absolutely everything you can possibly watch?
that being said as I am a degenerate and must bet on a game to enjoy it will take houston +2 When I see reverse line movement I follow it. Doubt books would be making it easier for people to win.
Houston +2 2 units Houston ml +110 + ov 61 1/2 unit
buffalo outgained central florida. I need to look no further.
in reality both these teams suck. central florida has just been luckier. luck runs out tonight.
