In Rutgers' 3 lined games they are actually +2 in turnover margin yet they still havent covered a game. If they  dont win the turnover battle tonight they have no shot. They simply cant move the ball. UCONN is averaging 208yds rushing a game and getting better every week. They will dominate time of possession. Rutgers will have to make every possession count or they have no shot. Rutgers isnt losing in flukie ways. They just cant sustain drives. Uconn is ascending after stumbling out of the gate.  This might be the last time you can get real good value on Uconn before the oddsmakers catch up. Take it while you can . As we have seen lately, the home dog in midweek games is not always a sure thing. I know it can feel that way sometimes but not here.

Rutgers covers tonight

If anything the oddsmakers have finally caught up with Rutgers.  0-4 ATS this year and they finally have some value at home.  Conn just beat and covered against two cupcakes at home.  Rutgers had chances to win against NC and has the defense to keep this one in check if not win outright.  Fading them after losing two straight home games, one to lowly Tulane, may not be the best move as they can not look any worse at this point.

Uconn Hasnt won on the road yet this season........and now they are -5 point favs at in-conference rival Rutgers??? 

Until they (Uconn) can prove they can win on the road I will take the Home team against them everytime.

You want to bring up the running back and O-Lineman that aren't playing for UCONN tonight? You want to talk about how much they shut down the UNC running game?

Last I knew Rutgers Quarterback is highly questionable....UConn has the size and speed....I'm all over UConn at -5.....Here's an excerpt from a press release on the 6th....

"With Tom Savage dealing with a hand injury suffered against Tulane, as well as the ineffectiveness that has plagued him all season, true freshman Chas Dodd has gotten extra snaps with the first team in practice. If Savage isn't healthy enough to start, Dodd would get the call against the Huskies."

If Savage plays that's fine. I'm expecting it. He's been awful. If the true frshman comes in instead that's fine as well, if not better. This is more of a "play on Uconn" for me . GL
