Week 2 Thoughts, Leans & Picks

Good afternoon everyone, who’s excited for Week 2 of college football!?

here are my thoughts and leans/picks after looking over the entire slate of games for week 2:

1. USF +17.5 (USF will keep it closer than this, UF good but I would’ve only taken them as a -9 or better. 17 pts way too much for USF
2. Mississippi state +7 (SEC team at home… who ever said Arizona state was like that? Mississippi state will play tough, expect a close game. I personally like misssippi state ml at +190 too
3. UCONN +7 (they are just a way better team than Syracuse)
4. Oregon -16 (they’re saying Oregon blows Oklahoma state out in like a 42-7 type of game
5. BYU TEASER play (BYU expected to beat Stanford by 30, I like any play that brings the reader down to a -13.5 or better
6. seems like a trap play, but Baylor has been awful lately. I’ll happily take 2.5 with SMU at home. this is the one game where if it misses, I’ll look back and say I should’ve known it was a trap play. Better team at home only favored by 2.5 is weird. SMU or pass for me, Baylor just isn’t good
7. Bowling green +23.5 at Cincinnati, bowling green always plays tough and is trying to represent their conference. Too many points to give them, bowling green keeps this game within 21 points by the end. I smell an over 46.5 as well, I could see this as a 31-20 kind of win for Cincinnati

I’m excited to watch all these games coming up - Week 3 also has some insane matchups, including my Florida Gators playing LSU in LSU. Should be one hell of a game. Enjoy the rest of your week and weekend Forums community
