Yeah, I'm going to bite down on a leather belt as the Hokies stick it in deep!!!
1.1 to 1u
3rd and probably final play of Week 1…
I’m putting a lot of faith in potential with LSU’s defense but I have no problem doing that. TCU bring back Pachall but he is breaking in a new receiver corps and offensive line and LSU is just so athletic everywhere.
LSU still has Mettenberger and I’m not sure bringing in Cameron was the way to go for them on offense. LSU traditionally relies on the running game to pound away at teams and the clock and TCU has the play makers in the secondary to make sure LSU does just that. I think Miles will take a conservative, grind it out approach to this one, while Patterson is going to have to figure out how he wants to attack LSU as he is replacing almost his entire offensive line. Confusion on the offensive line leads to sacks and drive killers. I think Pachall will be able to move the ball but without a strong offensive line they will have trouble putting the ball in the endzone.
Every game LSU played last season against a decent defense went under this number and TCU didn’t have a D1 game out of conference go over this number either.
Good luck!
