add Mike Riley at Nebraska. He is in way over his head! No one here had ever heard of him when his name was announced. That should have been a first sign.
55 points to a horrible 1-6 Purdue?
It's a sad day here in Nebraska

Richt one of the colonel's top 5 looks to be on his way out.
2 down 3 more to go.
Solich just might be heading toward the "Give him one year to turn things around list" let alone coach Nebraska. He's a big NO on returning to an elite program. He's a 17 point dog vs Bowling Green tonight for God's sake.
Let's give Riley a pass, it's a transition year and I don't know what Pellini left him with but I know their QB looked very erratic at times.

Adios Norm Chow and Frank Beamer is throwing in the towel at the end of the season. 2 more who were on the colonels "might make it to the end of the year list". Beamer is certainly a class act, he just couldn't get it done anymore. If the following coaches don't get a bowl bid their job will be in jeopardy day 1 of the 2016 season;
Terry Bowden - Akron
Steve Addazio - Boston College
Mike MacIntyre - Colorado
Ruffin McNeill - East Carolina
Ron Turner - Florida International
Trent Miles - Georgia St
Paul Petrino - Idaho
Paul Haynes -Kent St
Mark Stoops - Kentucky
Mike Riley - Nebraska
Bob Davie - New Mexico
Dennis Franchione - Texas St
Willie Taggart - USF
Craig Bohl - Wyoming

Bye Gary Pinkel,
Like many were saying on the tread your not going anywhere. I thought you would be around for at least another season but due to unforeseen circumstances your departure came sooner than I thought. I'm sure you will resurface somewhere (Purdue maybe?).
Good Luck coach.

Just read the reason for coach's retirement. Horrible news, hope everything works out for Coach Pinkel. Hiring and firing for a coaches performance is something that happens year in and year out. You never want to see it happen for health reasons.
Bless you coach.
