For Oregon, in the Dan Lanning era(since2022), they have never played a game on or before noon in the Midwest or east coast.
All their games are usually 3:30 or later, or night games. Go ahead and look at their schedules since 2022.
By all metrics, power rankings, eye tests and so forth, there's no reason that the Ducks shouldn't steam roll the Wildcats here. They've been an unstoppable force, in the 1H in particular this year.
Although these two teams have never played each other. They aren't familiar. Oregon has never been to Evanston which is a quirky and shitty travel path to get to from Ohare airport.
It will be raining tomorrow, starting as early as 3am. Some weather models are calling for heavy rain, others just average rain.
The Ducks might not be too enthusiastic in this spot. They'll be on 9am body clock time as it kicks off at 11am central.
Although this is a big10 conference game(or is it? BA please help me again), they could be looking ahead to going back home to play in state rival Oregon st next week.
NW has a bye the following week, they should give it all they can here at home vs one of the best schools in football.
NW isn't a good team. QB is whack. But they were out of their element in week 1 @ Tulane. Perhaps they're not as bad as they looked in that one. We can't ever get too much out of a game vs a non major like in week 2 vs Western Illinois. Those games usually don't require as much effort fwiw.
