With out any doubt, this OREGON team is the class of college football.
After watching them handle USC ....I'm convinced they will continue to be the CHAMPIONS of college football...............

Oregon does look very unstoppable offensively right now, but then again so does Auburn. They beat relativley equal opponents on the road with almost identical scores. It would be one hell of a NC game thats for sure, but in order for Auburn to get to that game, they have to go through a schedule 2 or 3 times more difficult than Oregons, which would give me a slight lean towards Auburn just bc of SOS. They are almost identical makeup wise though. Spotty defense that manages key stops and nearly unstoppable offenses.

I think Bama could beat both of these teams. I know they have 1 loss already but what they had to go through on their schedule was/is brutal. I think from here on out every team gets 2 weeks to prepare for them.

Yes the offenses of Oregon and Auburn look unstoppable but how often have we seen a team with a quality defense that is given 2 or more weeks to prepare be able to take out high scoring teams?

If Oregon has to play a bowl game against a team with a very good defense, I will be more then likely be betting against them.

I think Bama is the 3rd best team right now behind these 2. bama is leagues in front of the non AQ teams. however, bama lost their toughest game this year, South carolina, and was 1 or 2 plays from losing their second toughest, arkansas. They havent really looked stellar in any conference game besides the second half of Tennessee(oh yea, tennessee is awful). bama is still a good team, but they are only 3rd best, imo. everyone still loves bama bc of last year.

can you show me one good victory away from home; USC is not very good; they are one of the WORST defensive teams in the country; they beat Stanford AT HOME; their defense is very very very suspect; how about this; Oregon should run the table since they dont have any respectable teams on the road and play every hard team at home unless they lose the Civil War but Oreg State is ok this year; I will take TCU and whatever the points they lay for T-Shirt and if Oregon cant even make it with their schedule and no champ game then you can just send me one unless TCU has to play Bama which is the one team that could knock off TCU. Auburn has waaaaayyyyy too many holes on defense. TCU is a  complete team. TCU would hang 50 on Oregon and limit them to 28 max TCU schedule is weak but is about to get jumpstarted when they beat Utah

Totally agree I hate bama and I hate saban but Bama is much more of a complete team; Oregon hasnt had to play one good team on the road and has no champ game; i hate to say it but SEC teams have won the last 4 NC and there is a reason; they play tough games on the road no matter what; Oregon and Auburn even though in SEC has too many holes defensively; Auburn will have to play some elite teams and they will lose for sure; Oregon has one good victory and that was at home and is expected; TCU will embarrass them in the NC game

People said the same thing about various Ohio State, USC, and OU teams in the past 10 years and they all lost the big game.

Also the latest OU team set a record for most points scored in a season.

most people said that first couple weeks about Ohio St. and Alabama.  I still feel OSU and Alabama are two of the best teams in the country regardless of rank or record.    Auburn is surely showing some real strength though..  Oregon has shown weakness though..
