Best play of the weekend (teased down to -4) Duke misleading win over Clemson and large margin wins over lessor programs has served this bet on a silver platter

If Freeman is the coach I think he is, and he has them ready to play and not defeated, ND will win by double digits. I said in another thread, but the Duke WR already struggle with separation and they’ll be going up against the best corner tandem in the country. They’re going to be in hell Saturday night. If they are able to contain/stop the run, ND will easily win.

ND also only beat up on lesser teams, Duke by far has the better win. Yes, ND has the best players , but after watching those idiots line up with 10 players for the final and most important 2 plays , you have to believe Duke has the better coaching.

@RoseMVP1
What makes you think Freeman is anything but a bad coach? He lost to Marshall and Stanford last year , then sends out 10 players for final 2 plays of OSU game. Freeman took over a 11-1 program and went 9-5. Elko at Duke took over a 4-8 program and went 9-4.
ND most likely will win , but it won’t be because of coaching, ND most likely win despite coaching but because they have superior recruited/ transfer players

He’s really young and only in his 2nd year. And you’re right, they did lose those games. He also absolutely curb stomped Clemson despite Drew Pyne doing nothing. He didn’t have a QB last year. They should have beaten Marshall and Stanford, but he also may need a little time. The man is only 37 and didn’t even become a full time coordinator until 2016.
I would just like to point out that Nick Saban lost to an FCS AT HOME in his first season at Alabama. This Nick Saban also had prior head coaching experience, including a national title, before said loss.

This one is on my radar. I think Notre Dame rolls. They know that they have to go undefeated the rest of the way to have a shot at making the playoffs. I think they learned from last year after narrowly losing to OSU and losing outright to Marshall. Can't see that happening here. I think the line should be -7 here. Could see them win by DD.

Freeman is young and likable but he took over a 11-1 program and has gone 13-6. If you compare that 2 other young coaches like Day or Riley at OU, they took over thriving programs and maintained them.
Comparing the program Saban tookover a team that had 24 losses the previous 4 years to the ND program Freeman inherited that had 6 total losses the previous 4 years. Saban wasnt able to just grab guys like Hartman out of portal to fix holes that were left either.
Freeman has a lot to prove if anyone is going to consider him a good coach , starting with playing 11 men when game is on line or beating teams like Duke this sat

What's dangerous about this Duke team is that nobody expects them to win. Here comes the reverse, double reverse and the fake field goals. Should be entertaining but Duke will have a tough time stopping the ND rushing attack. By the 4th quarter I expect Duke to fade away.... Just my 2 cents
