hey guys dont know yall too good but thought id share my story too. my wife and i went  thru         kind of the same thing 15 months ago (health problems among other things) everything was going bad all at once. and u know there is nothing u can do but keep ur head up and pray. i said to her when it rains it pours but dammit that sun has gotta shine sooner or later. and needless to say it did. thankfully everything turned out ok. so guys keep ur head up and dont take anyone close to you for granted. now, enough      sad stories, is everyone ready to get some  tonite?  good   luck   I4U and to all the followers!!!!

I took my mother for her colonoscope yesterday.  You can't fool around with cancer,  always get checked out after 40...  We all know family first.  Getting old can be rough. 

 

The most important is that...

we are taking my grandma off life support this weekend and my grandfather on my cousins side of the family was only given a couple more days too soo its a tough week for my whole family as well.. at least we all have this site to stick together.. sure its for recreational degenerate gambling purposes but it also kind of gives us a sense of great friendship .. thanks to i4u for kinda pointing that out to me after sharing a personal experience with all of us whom he most likely never shared a true handshake with.. only those...

I'm sorry to hear the news but she is lucky to have a grandmother and spend some more time w/ her.  I never had one as both died before I was born.  Now my Mom who's biggest dream was to be a grandmother has been stricken with ALS @ 56 and the way it is moving she probably won't be there for my kids.  

condolences man....hope everything works out!....lets gett'em this weekend!!!  

INVEST buddy sorry to hear!  Like it said above hope the transition goes smooth!  I work in the healthcare industry with many carehomes and hospice agencies.  Make sure you do your research and pay a visit before deciding on a carehome!  Like I need to tell you to do research lol...  BOL my man

Invest and Playaaaa1969, sorry to hear the bad news. Although I'm sure its tough to relate to each of your individual stories, I pray for both of your families. My grandmother, a crazy old irish lady, has developed Alzheimer's disease. It's a terrible disease, and tough to see someone go through on a day by day basis. It's such a crippling disease, along with cancer. I am no saint that is for sure, but the best advice I can give to everyone is to pray for them. With God all things are possible. I wish the best for both of you.

it's pretty cool that you can be open about what's going on in your family invest, for that matter that everyone can open up & share what's going on...  There's a lot of tough stuff out there for sure & a lot of adversity going on, the most important thing is to keep hope & stay positive through it all even though that's the toughest thing to do..  The big man's got a plan & even tho it doesn't always make sense & at times it sucks a lot, it's important to remember all of that..

I'll be praying for you, your wife & the whole family Invest, i know it's a tough time, but hang in there brother..  Knowing you tho I know you will just wanted to shed some positivity on the whole thing..  I know there's a lot of us here that look up to you not just as handicapper, but as a person & what you value & how you live your life--  Everything's gonna be good,, Aight homie, i'll talk to you later on --  You're the man.
