Recognizing something has a certain control over you is liberating....in the sense you're under no illusions about what it is you're doing and why.
College football is the pipe I can't put down....and don't want to.....and never will. That's ok because I've long ago faced my demons.....that meant stopping gambling for a year to evaluate and gain perspective.....its OK to have the beast inside.....you just have to know what to feed it and how strong to make the cage.
Dr. Phil called.....he wants his opening monolog back.....
Can't get over the hump this year.....but not gonna stop trying.....

LOL! Screw Dr. Phil. Stellar opening monologue haha. I know all too well and relate far too much to the college football gambling demon and the cage needed to keep him at bay. Its ok to let that beautiful beast out to eat a little bit. Ive got to trick my back into the cage from time to time lol!

50,000 plus posts and this was your best. A horse player myself, seven decades, yet dabble some in CFB, often criticized for not posting plays yet realize 85% of people reading this are negative roi. So briefly, no particular order:
S
6 PACK
AUBURN plus a touchdown, QB competent, very solid defense, two NFL wideouts, keep Diego inside, Vandy gassed, rivals on deck, NFL total enticing, ugly game take the POINTS, hope for 7.
A&M in Columbia averaging a remarkable of amount of road Pts. per game; not here, 3rd straight voyage on road, most of game on ground, liking SOUTH of 48.5.
Cuse in Miami getting 4 TD's plus. No mas, yet the under very attractive. Orange completed 4 passes last week against NC state zone, Miami's combo zone/man terrifying for this QB, Miami 30 cuse 6 loving the UNDER in possible rain.
DOG's in Starkville, very much the better team. State scores on big plays, Kirby plays Tampa 2, Figure Georgia 27 -7 laying the pts.
Lexington brings the GATORS for the Keeneland/ Kroger evening tilt. Once again, a severe talent mismatch. Gainesville eleven should win comfortably
Lastly, Tx St players have never beaten this weak foe, yet are favored? Hello. bbb

The Aggies may be undefeated, but they haven't played any of the other SEC heavyweights (Bama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Texas, Vandy or Tennessee). Mizzou will be their toughest conference test to date. The Tigers have a tremendous defense and one of the the best run games in the country. And A&M's defense hasn't been great on the road. Even without Beau Pribula the Tigers will be a tough out.

True freshman QB for Missouri is a recipe for disaster. Pribula was balling out for that team. Extending plays with legs, escaping pocket from pass rush to make plays. Expecting true freshman to do the same against an elite team is a horrid play.

They literally just destroyed LSU, a preseason top 10 team with what was a top heisman candidate at qb before the downturn. And beat them so god damn bad in Death Valley they got Brian Kelly fired. They’ve faced plenty of competition on par with Missouri. This is a horrid take.

You stated a lot of facts before the "horrid take" opinion. The question is...why is the line so low with the backup qb ? Seems like Vegas wants you on the Aggies at less than a td.

Mizzou starting qb is out. I can’t see them putting up many points against the Aggie D. 24-13 Aggies
Of course I know all about the QB and everything else about the game. A&M is on 3rd straight road game, Mizzou off a bye and freshman got 2 weeks of prep and some gamete vs Vandy....hes not much of a drop from Pribula honestly.....A&M ranked high but their power rating is still not really close to top 10....you have A&M putting up 24 points....is that really a team you wanna lay a TD with on the road? Yes, the whooped a tail spinning LSU.....but other 2 road games? The won by 1 vs ND and 3 vs Arkansas while giving up 40 & 42 points.....so A&M might win and cover, but a "horrid take" is a pretty big stretch.....

"Horrid take"? Here's a list of A&M's SEC wins and their opponents' current conference records: AUBURN (1-5), MISS ST. (1-4), FLORIDA (2-3), at ARKANSAS (0-5), and at LSU (2-3). On the road the Aggies have surrendered 107 points in three games.
Mizzou has already faced Alabama at home and Vandy on the road, losing both games. They were only a three point home dog to Bama. They're +6' or 7 in this game, so there's line value here. At Vandy, Matt Zollers came in after Pribula was injured. He wasn't that bad. Mizzou actually outgained the 'Dores by 111 yards in a seven point loss. Now Zollers has had two weeks to get ready for this game. Mizzou has the better defense, and maybe the better run game. Zollers doesn't have to win the game for the Tigers, he just has to play clean and keep the mistakes to a minimum.

Guess we will find out what Marcel Reed is made of, subpar game from him opens the door.
Amen to that! This has definitely been on the mind all season. The inconsistent deep ball is still with him. Should be a helluva game to watch. We shall see. Gig'em! Whooooop!! BTHOMizzou!
