He was given $110 million over 10 years. 4 years in and he has only 1 season with double digit wins. Have to think its has to be a CFP year in 2026 or he's gone.
Boosters are not interested in the Alamo or Las Vegas Bowl every year at that type of money.

Most overrated Offensive Cord in college football.
Ya I never got the hype. He put up 100 points a game in the Big 12 where defense was non-mandatory. This is also the guy who gave up 2 TD's and safety in the final 4 minutes to lose the cotton bowl to Tulane.

I'm surprised the Defensive Coordinator (Lynn) left for Penn State. It is the same conference. I know he played there, but jeez? Did Penn State offer more money? If that is the case, then how can that be?

What a nightmare to end the season but Linco has the top recruiting class coming in this fall so that helps sorta.
That is true. But you need a coach who knows how to maximize the potential of these recruits. People like Saban or Kirby know how to do this. Lincoln doesn't unfortunately. Even if he had the top 10 defensive recruits year over year, they would still struggle on defense.
