winning is when you don't bet... when it come to betting stats is out the window.. vegas is the big mafia.. all games are fix... some game you can see it right in front of you.. but what are you going to do ? nothing... all vegas take is a call down the coach.. the offensive coordinator.. defensive coordinator.. and say hey.. i give you guy 5 millions to lose this game or win and not cover.. while we collect 25 mil from the other bettors and pay you guy.. too easy... everything is money ... vegas = money in the bank.. they never lose.. or you can say you toss a quarter up .. 10 times.. how many time head come out ?? it should be 50/50 right ? no.. is not.. so if you bet 20 games.. and u pick head .. it should be 10/20 right?? no.. so the more you bet.. the more you lose.... winning is when you hit one game of your life and quit.. then u beat vegas.. but who win one game and quit ? no one.. u get either get greedy and want to win more because you think is easy money.. or you'r a gambleholic...

This is the main principle of how sportbook or any other book works. However, they don't work on a single game, the stats 50/50 is calculated from a large number of game (large ensemble).
In the end of the days, those % numbers will eventually go to 50.

dude, if you want 50/50 chance, close your eyes, dont fade any news AND pick the same way every single game, say pick home team no matter what the line is. 1000 games without skip a single game, you ll get 50/50. once you fade or lean on something, you dont make a blind pick any more,so no way you get close to 50/50
