Like Duke. They played tough vs Illini, have to cleanup their mistakes.
And I like arubadk's post. Wisconsin doesn't look very good at home and now on the road......vs Bama.

Bucky the Badger and the Wisconsin defense that is giving up only 5 points per game is headed to Bryant-Denny Stadium to take on the fraudulent Crimson Tide and their Head Coach Kalen “Why am I not fired yet?” DeBoer. This is a noon kickoff which Coach Nick Saban hated, because all of the Bama sorority girls tailgate and then go into the stadium and get all hot and then they leave and of course the Bama boys follow them out back into the parking lot… by the middle of the third quarter, the stadium will be as empty as Kalen DeBoer's trophy case. Without the deafening roar of 100,000 fans to distract opponents, the Badgers will execute their punishing, time-consuming offensive drives as the game clock spins and spins.
Giving this many points to Wisconsin is insane. Clearly the betting public has been bamboozled by the mystique of the "Bama Brand," First of all, the Massey Composite has Alabama ranked 8 and Wisconsin ranked 41. That puts them at about an 11 point differential. Wisconsin has already shown that they are much better than their team last year, particularly on defense. Last year, they yielded more than 20 points in only 6 of their 12 contests. Miami OH had plenty of fun moving the ball against Rutgers, but the Badgers kept the RedHawks off the scoreboard and held them under 120 total yards of offense.
Now I’m not sold on Florida State, but they ran for 230 yards against Alabama in week 1. You just can’t ignore the public shaming that happened to the Tide in week 1. Wisconsin's entire offensive game plan is to run the ball, run it again, and then, for a little razzle-dazzle, run it a third time. If Wisconsin can match that effort, and there’s no reason to think that they won’t, Alabama won’t get the ball nearly enough times to score 21 points, let alone win the game by that many. The availability of two key Alabama offensive playmakers will be in question. Their star freshman wide receiver, Ryan Williams, is still in concussion protocol, and starting running back Jam Miller, who suffered a dislocated collarbone in fall camp, is not expected to play.
Even if the Badger’s Billy Edwards doesn’t play, Danny O’Neill had a great game last week, going 23/27 for 283 yards and 3 touchdowns. Even though Wisconsin didn’t put up a ton of points in week 1 against the Red Hawks, they did manage 353 yards of offense. Alabama is completely fraudulent. You can’t make use their game against ULM as a measuring stick. When they played a good team, they got their asses beat. Wisconsin is also a good team and Bama is laying a ton of points this game against a very very good defense. It doesn’t compute. Taking the Badgers and the points.

Duke sounds good. They played well vs Illinois and absolutely couldve won that game. Going on the road disciplined after killing themselves w stupid mistakes sounds like a winner

Vandy is candy. Sometimes it’s all about the quant, and figures don’t lie. Remember that time in high school math when you learned that if A = B and B = C, then A = C? Well, in this glorious pigskin equation, Vanderbilt is "A," South Carolina is "C," and our common denominator, our magical middleman, is the Virginia Tech Hokies, who apparently decided to be the control group in this scientific experiment of gridiron dominance. Remarkably, the Hokies opened the season at home against South Carolina and then hosted Vanderbilt last week – so we have a direct comparison…so here we go:
That, my friends is the tale of the tape. So, let's look at the grand finale. The transitive property tells us that if Vandy is so much better than the team that South Carolina barely scraped by, then Vandy must be an absolute juggernaut compared to South Carolina. This isn't just about a spread; it's about a fundamental mismatch. Giving Vanderbilt 5.5 points is like giving a Ferrari a 5-minute head start in a race against a tricycle. Grabbing the points and the road dog in this one.

Delaware holds a 20-7 advantage in the historical series against UConn, but their rivalry concluded in 1998 when Delaware was a Division I-AA program and UConn moved up to I-A (now FBS)

I guess I shouldn't have been so condescending about Alabama's win over ULM...I mean ULM did beat St. Francis by the score of 29-0.....but then again, Buffalo beat St. Francis by the score of 45-6. Ummm...never mind.

Let’s get one thing clear: UConn is not back. They are strutting around like Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake because they took Syracuse to overtime. Big Whoop. They lost. They’re not "next," they’re not “sneaky good,” they’re not anything except a once-proud Yankee Conference reject getting ready to be humbled by their former FCS little brother turned angry Blue Hen. UConn alumni barely remember they have a football team. Delaware alumni? They show up. They tailgate. Tubby Raymond Field will be rocking like it's 1994 and UConn still played in the Yankee Conference. And don’t forget the revenge factor. Delaware sees UConn as the one that got away. That awkward ex who moved to the “big time” and started playing MAC teams in front of empty stadiums on Tuesday nights. It’s time for the Blue Hens to remind them: you were never better than us, you just climbed on the women’s basketball team’s coattails.
Let’s start with history. The last 14 times Delaware hosted UConn? Delaware won 12. That’s not a trend, that’s a tradition. You don’t just walk into Tubby Raymond Field and walk out with a double-digit win unless you’re Ohio State—and even they would get booed off the field by 40,000 screaming Hens fans for not knowing what “Yankee Bean” means.
UConn’s QB, Joe Fagnano, went 24-of-43 last week for 259 yards with no TDs and a QBR of 38.2. That’s not a quarterback. That’s a live-action Madden glitch. Watching him try to hit receivers is like watching a golden retriever eating sticks on the ground: chaos, some crying, and a lot of things landing nowhere near the target.
And sure, they blew out Central Connecticut. So what? Your grandma could score three touchdowns on Central Connecticut if you gave her a decent offensive line and a Red Bull. Against real competition? They mustered 20 points and got taken to OT by a Syracuse team whose defense is so porous they’ve been officially reclassified as swiss cheese.
Yes, Delaware lost to Coach Prime and Colorado, 31-7. But let’s not pretend that was a blowout until garbage time. The game was 10-7 with 9 seconds left in the first half, and Delaware racked up 396 yards of offense. They moved the ball, controlled tempo, and shot themselves in the foot with three turnovers. Had they cleaned up just two of those mistakes? That’s a one-score game against a Power Five opponent who would torch UConn like an unattended propane grill.
And let’s give credit to Delaware’s front seven, who held Colorado to 3.4 yards per carry. UCONN’s star back Cam Edwards could only scratch together 3.6 yards per carry vs. Syracuse. If UConn can’t run—and they won’t—then it’s QB Fagnano or bust. By now you know what happens to you if you can’t run the ball on the road…you lose, that’s what happens. And the Huskies are trying to cover 10 points on the road? With a QB who couldn’t hit water falling out of a boat?
Delaware is averaging 301.5 passing yards per game – 22nd in the FBS. Who knew the Hens had an Air Raid? Minicucci has 582 yards and 4 TDs through two games. He's basically Josh Allen if Josh Allen had student loans and a sociology exam on Monday. Unless Fagnano transforms into Josh Allen overnight, UConn is not winning this by double digits. Delaware has the better passing game, a chip on its shoulder, and history on its side. I’m taking the home dog, I mean Hen, and the 10 points.

Careful with Vandy. Did you notice they got shut down in the first half? Then they raked over a defense that is not even close to as good as the Cocks and now have to go back to back in a much tougher home crowd that is so loud.
Cocks coach is a frenetic motivator as well and you can bet that he has the troops fired up to face Vandy. SC went into their building last year and beat Vandy easily controlling Pavia. Yes, Vandy has fodder but may not have the horses to do it 2x in a row
That said....yes, you have a pretty good shot at getting the cover if +6 and probably +5.5 as I don't see that being much of an issue a half point here with those numbers
Sellers is much better now than he was when he went into their building last year and if I recall, was not hitting his stride until he played a great game vs Texas AM before Vandy last year and after that, he was a beast every game including the Vandy game....his prior games leading up to that one had him achieving QBR ratings in 60's ....after TexAm...he was 70's - 90's the rest of the way.
I think he will recognize the situation and be inspired again and if not, coach will remind the whole team that Vandy are a threat.
It should be a good one! iAMHUGE .... I enjoy reading your thread
I haven't picked a side but enjoy watching Cocks play at home when I can !

As you can tell, I didn't dive too far into the fundamentals of this particular game. My analysis on this contest was purely on the common opponent and based on nothing else other than the QB. So call it a weighted coin flip when getting the points. Good luck.

I remember for the longest time UConn had NEVER beaten Delaware, in like 8 or 9 tries. I always depressed me that somehow the Huskies had moved on to a BCS bowl, while Delaware had moved on to losing to Jacksonville and Sacred Heart at home. I've watched both Delaware games. Afrer the first (Del State), I thought 1-11 was a legitimate possibility, as both lines look unprepared for D1 football. They certainly looked better, particularly the O-Line, in Boulder.; and, frankly, Delaware State looked like a much, much better team than they usually are in beating Albany last week I still have a sinking feeling that we are still just overmatched physically by real teams, but there's some nice RLM heading in the Hens' favor, which should portend a close-ish game, and hopefully a cover.
I miss the Yankee Conference.
Anyway, great stuff as usual Huge.

The Blue Hen O and D lines match up size wise with UCONN, despite the recent move up to FBS. Also, UCONN runs that silly 3-3-5 defense and Delaware has some big horses at running back (4.8 yards per carry) that will help them fall forward and get pride yards. They will switch to a 4-3 if the Blue Hens move the chains and Syracuse had a field day throwing on the Huskies.

As I mentioned, not only is your analysis good, but we get treated to a good sense of humor too. Good luck on your plays. Whatcha think bout Gators bouncing back ?
