Expanding the CFB playoff was an awful idea

Other than more money for these greedy fucks, what’s the point from a competitive standpoint? All of the big underdog teams are horrendously bad. All one dimensional or very bad in one area. You might as well just do it like March Madness at this point. 

It was much better with just a 4 team playoff. What dumb fuck thought this was a good idea?  

Rather watch the NBA than this shit.

 Should be last lopsided matchup of the playoffs. The expanded playoff is great for the sport, but the seeding criteria needs revised. 

Should be just top 8 play each other

agree, 12 way too many. look at this season, ppl actually wanted a 3 loss in team in playoff...a 3 loss team that didn't even play in its conf final. I enjoy watching all the games, but it is too many. 4-8 tops imo.

Not too much but not winning much either. I know I don’t make my cake in this sport. It’s entrainment….except it ends up being far from entertainment. It is a fucking horrible product. Plus this is a hot take worth a debate.  It’s a new thing and they changed something that was solid into horse shit

4 was memorable.  8 at max though would be okay. 

Expand to 64 teams 

with current p4 setup I would have 8 teams in playoff. All four p4 conf champs are in, the highest ranked g5 team is in (assuming they can get in to top 15), then 3 at large selections. rd1 on home fields, neutral after.

More games that means something..Would you rather have games where half the players opt out or injured instead?  dont see how this is even a complaint.  You could just skip watching it.

You have all the answers eh? The playoff is fine. There are never going to be more than 7-8 real contenders. So a couple of them will be beat downs. Big deal.

Ohio St/Oregon/Georgia/Notre Dame/Texas/Penn St will make this playoff great.

The last 2 games tonight should be better. First 6 have been worse than preseason MLB. I’m not down or up on these shit games either I don’t bet 2 TD type of spreads. 12 teams was too many 

No dog in this fight but even watching these lopsided CFB games is better then watching regular season NBA and NHL today..  So if I have a choice give me CFB playoffs..  Also its the first year it worked out this way eventually a dog some time will come up and bite someones  arse.. Only a matter of time... ala March Madness. NBA or netflix ...give me CFB.. Bad or good... The good will happen eventually...
