This does mean Forum Legends pick's won't be sold on Covers any more. If they decide to post them for free in the forum, that's up to them.

The decision to close Covers Experts is entirely business-driven as we look to focus on affiliate marketing, growing our user base and strengthening our sportsbook relationships in North America and beyond.

I think it’s a wise decision.  The Experts/Legends gave the perception that covers.com was in the tout business. (Though I know  my covers brothers BA and Train did their best and are legit).  This way you guys can focus on being an objective portal of information.  I recommend that you develop valued added features that benefit your base.
