The 1st play is in: (saturday selection):
Connecticut -6 (-120 hook) for 10 units... First off I can't believe my eyes passed this one up especially since it's the first game listed on the board for Saturday. After reading into stats and trends a bit in this game their looks to be a big advatage for the Huskies in this matchup. The Huskies are lead by senoir QB Zach Frazer who is off to an aceptable start as he threw for 205yards in that tough loss to Michigan and only threw for 104yards against Texas Southern but that was because the Huskies ran the ball down Southern's throat in a 62-3 rout of the non D-1 school. I think the tough loss and scrimage game against Southern set up the Huskies very nicely here to continue their success on the road as before the loss to Michigan the Huskies were 7-0ats on the road. The Huskies junior tailback Jordan Todman who rushed for over 1100yards and 14TD's last season is off to a nice start carrying the ball 35 times for 256yards and 4TD's already (105 vs UM 151 vs TS). Temple first 2 games came againstvery weak teams IMO with wins over CMU (13-10), a team that lost their starting leader an QB in Dan Lefevour to the NFL and Villanova (31-24) a non D-1 school for football. Temple will rely heavily on sophmore tailback Bernard Pierce who rushed for over 1300yards and 16TD's last season who is listed as questionable for this weeks game as of right now due to a hand injury. Temple has gone a different direction this year as instead of continuing with the success they had with last years starting QB Vaughn Charlton (switched to TE). Instead Temple turns to junior QB Stewart, Chester who's career numbers before this year are 79 completions in 171 attempts (thats just 44%) 7td's 10int's. So when I look at this switch I think that it will seriously hurt Temple's chances to win games this season when facing a tougher opponent. I think the 2 slim victories over CMU & Villanova for Temple combined with Uconn's 30-10 loss to michigan have this spread way to low IMO as the score in the Michigan game does not reflect that the game was closer than the score seemed IMO. I love this spot for the Huskies and a senior led QB to keep their program running the strongest it has been in a 3 year span (24-14) since joining D-1 Football back in 2000-2001 season. Very large play on the Huskies early saturday...POW
Loving this play. Wish I would have seen it earlier as it looks to have opened at around 4 at the early books and is now up to 6.5 everywhere. I bought the hook GL...

Va Tech has steemed all teh way up to -19.5...
Wow all of the square world on ECU and they are giving the squares even more points right from the get go basically. The is screaming for me to jump on Va Tech just because of the movement but it will be very very interesting to see where this nugoes from here now. As I said before I liked Va Tech on the coming off of a loss strategy. The problem was so do the books as they released a a -16.5 spread and now it's up to -19.5. Talking about just daring you to take ECU. Somewhere a bunch of really rich people are already laughing their asses off. Thats my take...

Va Tech is a very sharp play this week IMO the problem is they realeased a spread that makes it easy for public america to take the point's right from the get go and then leave it out just long enough to marinate into peoples heads thinking (really ECU is getting 16.5 pts). And then smartly move the spread up to close to 19.5 or better at most all sites leaving all degens and people without brains thinking WTF. Iv'e written a lot of stuff on this site before and posted many thoughts on many games and not once have I have ever said this. But I will say it now. I think Vegas knows exactly what is going to happen in this one. And moving this spread up to 19.5 after opening a spread bigger than most expected was absolutely genuis IMO. I expected 10-14 BTW and was ready to unload on anything less than 2 TD's. Another victory for the Books on this move. BOL on this game which ever way you go....
I posted this elsewhere in the forum but figured i might as well put my thought on paper in my own thread as well...

2nd play is in:
Texas El Paso -14 (-120 hook) for 7 units... The the Miner's here and keeping the spread within in 2 TD's to be layed just makes way too much sense IMO. Trevor Vittatoe is not a good QB he's an excellent QB IMO and mucho experience to go along with it. Vittatoe's career college number's read as follow's; 10,000+yards passing and 79td's with a a completion % just nder 60%. If your looking for a team with a solid leader against a lessor opponent look no furhter than UTEP. Last season UTEP blasted the Aggies 38 -12 on their own turf yet this time around they have opened up the close to the -14 that UTEP was favored by last season on the road. All 12 of those pts scored by the Aggies came in the 4th qtr. I will gladly back Trevor Vittatoe and the Miner's in this one at a good price IMO...POD
You can still get this game @ -14.5 right now @ bookmaker I just did and bought the hook...

3rd play is in:
Kansas State -3 (-120 hook) for 5 units... Iv'e been pondering this play all week long and I can't let another day pass without booking this now with a valued number still on the board IMO. Bottom line here I just feel that the Wildcats have the Cyclones outmatched in skill and talent wise in almost every area. I try hard not to look at the number's produced already in this young season but with the Wildcats 6-2ats in their last 8 games QB & RB off to a great start's it's hard not to look at the numbers from both teams offense and not tell yourself that the Wildcats have a solid edge in this one. I will gladly lay this small number with the Cats. I'm pretty sure this game is going to be played in Arrowhead stadium and that should also bring some extra help for the Cats in their home town...
BOL as always...
If you are wondering about the Cats QB & RB's click on their names here and I think you will be impressed in the direction these 2 are heading in...
Senoir QB, Carson Coffman and Senoir RB, Daniel Thomas...

Since the day I joined here the information that can be gathered just by surfing through match-ups and info provided by cover's that can be combined with other outside info really helps out any capper's atempts at making money...
My favorite room here is the team match-ups page as you can surf through all kind's of stats from that page...
