Big game BIIG SPOT for ECU catching Memphis in a huge deflating road game off the hugely disappointing tulane loss .. both still have an outside shot to win .. I think the spot at home for ECU is a big one and sounds like the memp QB was struggling quite a bit last week and sorta half expect he doesn't play and/or plays hurt again .. Not laying any points in this one so taking it on the ML for the -120 ..

Pay no attn to Duke in that game .. result is a misnomer they coulda / shoulda beat them easy .. I noted in my write up last week .. that game doesn't matter one lick to them .. win or lose .. and this was kinda like UCONN's big game of the year at home here and they had a few weapons and MAX level motivation to win that one .. just playing for wins this year and they can land a 10 win ssn if they win out and win their bowl game so they did everything they needed to .. Duke only cares about is the conf I was surprised they were even playing / risking Mensa or any starters last gm .. this week is DO OR DIE at home for chance at very historic ACC title shot and playoff .. loss didn't impact any of that .. I agree Duke is not on a real level but not to be faded in this spot IMO .. As for Conn.. watch end of the game fans rush the field and obvi big party in DA CONN last night no doubt .. I'd expect they beat AF at home but I mean whole diff team coming in and one they prob didn't prep tooooo much for .. their D also staaaanks .. not a spot I'd go layin points w them this week ..

Quick note.. I do have my schedule marked w AF in a very trough spot going to UCONN this week .. AF is off Army and @SJSU .. now B2B roadies to UCONN .. very early kick time .. But .. AF can win last 3 for a bowl and this noncon spot is a must win for that .. they don't have any chance to make the conf champ game and service academies realllly like those bowl games so not the horror show spot it looked like pre-ssn .... SP+ had AF as +13 last week and opening spread is+8.5 at FAN .. so in a way we're getting a deal maybe taking Uconn off the bat .. buuuut .. it sure just kinda seems like maybe AF is the side to take .. think I wanna see if UCONN backers can punch that to 10.5 or something and we have some extra room to take AF in a tough spot .. and at least rely on them bowl hunting and UCONN being off their biiiig game with this game being relatively meaningless compared to the big win vs Duke .. it is their home finale .. that could be big show up or maybe a distraction still .. we'll see .. not sure what to do w that or just sit back and wait .. did take a small bite on the Over 62.5 .. might be dumb but its 2 offenses with baaaad defenses lining up here .. - good luck!

2 offenses .. No defenses .. I suspect Conn is a bit rugged after last week and AF's pass D is horrrrrific .. should be points in this one .. You got Uconn who can prob run the exact same plays as last week and be fine .. AF shouldn't be much of a struggle to move the ball but also catching bad D off their big game .. Game maybe meaningful in some way to Uconn being home finale and a shot at 10 wins if they close out the ssn and win their bowl gm .. but AF is fighting to make a bowl and needs a win here and catching Conn off their superbowl and based on post gm celebrating, big superbowl win party .. hate the spot for AF but seeing they're only goal now is a bowl win I can kinda see them not showing up in tooo bad a shape here even off the Army game and road win vs SJSU and now on this long roadie and early kick .. AF guys no unused to being up early .. I suspect that might actually hurt Conn more than anyone ..

Don't like laying this many on the road .. GT in a must win for the conf and BC man o man if that's what we get in the red bandana game then call it a season .. only worry is they fire the coach and we see an actual effort here ... I don't think GT is as gooood as advertized but when they get their hooks in they can gut a bad team like this and I suspect they can do that here .. again must must win off a bye with PITT on deck .. I think they throat this team early and not even think about being in any kinda tussle late .. SP+ last week was GT -20 and looking BC over its hard to disagree .. BC also now in the tail end of an 8 game VERY TOUGH stretch and I had this marked pre-ssn as a realllly tough spot .. so we're getting I think a few points on the power rating here plus the spot lines up where we might just see BC fall flat and shatter again at home .. pathetic injury plagued team is playing all sorts of QB's making so many mistakes .. bad tackling .. Haynes King maybe not a likely heisman but certainly a guy if they win out he couuuld have a shot to make the trip .. final year and If yer coach you wanna at least call it for your DUDE and try to make it memorable ..
The risk here is GT could pull King early if they're well ahead .. we have seen their backup Philo do some good things this year and last in relief so there's something to like here in this spot .. and yeah also seen BC fall flat in clearly good spots multiple times vs better teams at home so .. eesh they stink ..

KENT ST / AKRON UNDER 48.5
Potential wind to hit this area on Tuesday.. could be impactful, we'll see .. What I would say is Kent St D does stink but this is for the wagon wheel and we can't look at anything to be consistent in this one when it comes to the effort .. Akron's offense was horrifc to start the year maybe found some legs vs the worst of the worst D's out there .. we'll see here .. Kent State's offense is best when going on very slow drives pickin up first downs and burning clock .. and we'll see what that looks like here .. SP+ proj total is 47ish so just feels like a nasty weather MACTION spot where we expect points but w MAJOR RIVALRY here can't expect the norm from these two .. we can take for a smaller .. good luck!

Hit last night .. Expecting Hauss Hejni QB's return .. its been soooo epically bad and guys already declaring for the portal incl 2 OL starters .. Not sure about everyone's status there but the OL's are continuing to play / say they'll play for the ssn .. very good sign .. will they play to the end IDK but this is on my radar as a total rebirth game at home vs a K-State team that is maybe fighting for a bowl but its a really sortof a tricky spot and vs a team who hasnt thrown much of a punch at all this year .. the one sorta punch was when Gundy was fired after losing to Tulsa .. and that wasn't much either .. team portalers continuing on is a great sign and with Hejni expected back rest of the season he can use this as his RS year .. you know he's gunna play hard .. he was far and away the best QB for them in camp and sent all the backups packing .. hence they haven't really had anyone ..
K-State's pass D has been a nightmare for them .. their offense should find traction vs this D .. SP+ says its 19 or so and its a good HFA and the fans are actually still showing up in Stillwater .. I can't imagine they won't be showing up now that their Dude is coming back .. all signs pointing to him being ready in prev weeks and just waiting for final 3 game stretch which features big home K-St game and a couple other winnable opponents w Iowa State at home and trip @UCF .. maybe the misery turns around quickly because they have been able to hang in w some of the big numbers and we're getting another big number here ..

Note there's a massive wind and possible rain of some level to hit this game forecasted as of now .. I expect that plain state wind to show up .. the rain idk .. let's just say if it wasn't for the weather I'd be Bridge Playing it over anything in that mid-50's total region .. I took a small bite at 52.5 and its up to 54.5 .. I could see the wind be a major impact though .. monitoring the weather with a couple King Fish Torpedoes locked n loaded if things look like they're due to clear up .. but yeah .. doubtful ..

For fun .. maybe BIG FUN!!!.. Funny feeling on OK.State too K-State is just in such an iffy situation this year and frankly the QB is not good and just deflated in every way last game .. Ark playing a totally deflated LSU team albeit on the road .. realllly like Ark's offense and they're hunting for any win right now .. UNC with outside shot at a bowl .. Wake just made a bowl miraculously .. just a tough spot I think here w UNC kinda inching closer to respectability each week .. also has a solid run D which could very well throw Wake off their game .. we might also see some more of their backup QB as the sitch has been rather tenuous with Ashford and huuuuge HUUUUUGE win to make a bowl is def a natural chill / get healthy spot here .. Maybe see if -7 shows up but I popped that number and it hit 10 before someone bet it back .. think they weren't shy about bumping this to 10 at all .. Delaware needs 6 or more wins to have any chance to land an extra bowl ticket .. would be HUUUGE for them .. Sam Houston is such a massive turd and shoulda lost easy .. def celebrating their biggest miracle win of .. maybe the entire CFB season??!! .. on their 3 AM plane ride home from corvallis .. 150 yds to like 480 and just the grace of the worst special teams unit in cfb history did they manage to keep that game close .. Delaware off a big win and reallllly do kinda need this one .. also lot of ex-Sammy Hoo coaches on this staff .. trust me its a big massive game for them .. Surprisingly its the first matchup for these old FCS big wigs .. another big deal and reason to show up here.. think they show up ready to rock ..

NEW MEXICO -14 (CIRCA)
Nearly got 13 .. 14 as high as I can take it .. this feels like a true to form slaughter spot for the Rams between UNLV and Boise on deck .. there's not much post ssn hope for the Rams at 2 wins now and getting murdered at home is becoming the norm .. New Mex is actualllly not in a terrible spot to maybe squeeze into the champ game .. (100-1 ticket holders where ya at??!! .. ) .. there's heavy wind and doubt it bodes well for a team that lost their QB and new guy hits 50% last week and crappy run game and horrible D .. New Mex should throttle these guys and have added incentive as tiebreakers in the MW very quickly get to the CPU rankings .. it might not matter in the end what they do here but coach knows this for sure and no way you look back and wonder if you shoulda popped in that last TD or two .. New Mex is just so gritty and tough on the ground and vs the run I think they beat them up pretty good here unless there's some wild injury or unforeseen turnover situation or totally wacky special teams etc .. clean game I like new mex to roll here w the heavy wind they are very used to hurting Colo State muuuuch more and in some ways maybe really assisting the Lobos whose weakness has been that downfield pass game the likes of Boise or SJSU were able to have w them .. -GOOD LUCK!

Never saw a 7 .. 7.5 might a been or BP .. again this offense is the real deal .. this D stinks baaad .. but .. a bad offense is still a bad offense and LSU has a horrible one .. hard to imagine LSU winning and covering in this major major down spot off a supermax effort vs Bama and an HC very willing to start making changes to the linup and top quality guys like Nic Anderson carted off and on and on .. only reason we might see an LSU kick here is its a home game and it is a bit of an old yet kinda under stated rivalry w 70 past meetings .. LSU bombed the HOGS last year and won by 24 .. nothing in the 'MARGIN DEPARTMENT' would suprise me if the HOGS seek some payback here .. and they are def still hunting for SEC wins right now .. this would be a legit good one to take down ..
