Here's what I wrote in my thread:
I think people are down on Tennessee as all 5 losses (against quality foes) have been nationally televised yet Vanderbilt has rarely been seen by the public is very overrated. The VOls 5 losses are against Kentucky (#20), at #16 Kansas, twice against #3 Gonzaga and at #58 Temple. My ratings are Kenpom's ratings. They have the 2nd toughest schedule in the country.
Vandy has a schedule that ranks 225th with wins over #337 Alabama A&M, #335 Furman, #318 Central Arkansas, #311 St. Franics, #209 Morehead and #171 Gerogia. They lost to Georgia Tech and Illinois Chicago by double digits, lost to Kentucky, Miss State and Illinois. I really don't see an effort on their scorecard that overwhelms me other than a 30 point win over UMass. Wins over VCU and Drake are solid but I still do not feel they are an upper echelon top 35 team. Their bench isn't that deep, they aren't a good rebounding team and they struggle to score at times. I know this is a huge rivalry, but I feel Tennessee is the much better team and are more than capable of getting it done on Vandy's home court.

Tenn scores a lot of points in transition. They wont get many transition points tonight because Vandy wont turn the ball over. Additionally, Tenn cant press when they dont score. This game will be played in the half court - this is not a Tenn strength. In the last 5 games, Vandy shooting about 78% from the line, Tenn is at 68% from the line. Last factor is that Bruce Pearl is the Tenn coach. That is a big advantage for Vandy.
